We are a foster based animal rescue and outreach in the Nashville area.
Our mission is to work as a shelter diversion for animals who are facing homelessness, through no fault of their own. We work with people and thier pets to determine the needs in hopes to keep the pets in their home. We provide training, education, vet care; or a foster and adoption in those situations where rehoming is their only option.
Early on, the majority of SOARescue animals come to us through a partner organization called SAFPAW* (Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare). In 2021-22 we grew enough that we were able to help in many rural, underfunded areas in Middle Tennessee.
If SOARescue has the capacity to aid with other strays or owner surrenders, we will gladly do so. Our goal is to help relieve pressure on the over-burdened shelter system.
